On Friday, the whole school participated in Number Day, to raise funds for NSPCC. The children came to school dressed in clothes with digits and then had great fun participating in numerous maths activities. P6M thoroughly enjoyed searching the school grounds for different sizes of angles.
Thanks to all of you who donated to this charity before Christmas. On Friday 17th December we all wore our Christmas jumpers or festive outfits.
We raised a phenomenal £735.40 so many thanks. The cheque was handed over this morning to Rebecca who came into school to represent this very worthy charity.
Well done to Amelia and Rhys for earning the Superstar Coder certificate, awarded by Mrs. Kinghan, for creating an excellent Scratch Project.
P6M used Scratch to program the journey of coffee as part of their new WAU topic, Fairtrade. They had to import a background and sprites from the internet to include in their project.
Holly was the lucky raffle winner for Decembers, Good To Be Green. Well done Holly.
P6M have enjoyed exploring a wide variety of art medium to produce some fantastic Winter Wonderland scenes. Well done to the very talented young artists.
