The following policies have been added to the school website for consultation:

  1. ICT
  2. Safeguarding and Child Protection

Consultation is an important aspect of policy implementation whereby stakeholders have the opportunity to contribute to procedures and provision within an particular area of school life.
Please take some time to read the policies and provide feedback using the form on the same web page.  The feedback will go directly to Mr Frizzell only.  All feedback is helpful, even if it is just to say 'I agree.'

To access these policies, go to 'About Us' tab on the school website and then 'Policy Consultation.'

The above policies will be up for 2 weeks from Monday 8th April.

Thank you.

During term 2 P5D have been learning about what Jesus did during Lent and Easter. All pupils used what they learnt to create a poster about Easter. The posters were judged and here are the winners. It was also lovely to make some Easter buns and decorate Easter eggs before finishing this term.

What an exciting month it has been. We watched our chicks crack out of their eggs and took care of them. We talked about animals and their young. We observed the changes that Spring has brought about. We saw the beautiful cherry blossom grow on the trees and the daffodils and crocuses start to flower. We created some impressive art work based around this.

This month we explored film and animation. We discovered how to make pictures move by making thaumatropes. This was lots of fun! We then used the Stop Motion app to make objects move digitally. We really enjoyed this aspect of ICT and look forward to developing our digital storytelling skills next term.

We have been on a Spring walk- looking for signs of Spring and discovered beautiful daffodils, tulips and cherry blossom. We enjoyed learning about St Patrick and made some lovely shamrocks to take home. There has been a lot of discussion about Easter- we made yummy Easter nest buns and had a very exciting visit from Jo Jingles.
