Primary 3 enjoyed creating their very own mini pizzas from BREAD! To complete our World Around Us topic about bread we made our mini treats!
A simple homemade treat can be enjoyed over the summer holidays, take a look at the great toppings.
Primary 3 enjoyed a wonderful day filled with many physical activities to keep their minds and bodies alert! Mummies and daddies also joined in with some fun parent races at the end.
The children all received a sticker and medal for taking part. Please look at all the smiling faces and fabulous memories they had today!
A special WELL DONE to Freya and Jacob for getting to the final running face and receiving a second and third overall place in P3 👏👏

What a spectacular array of crowns we saw today!! Everyone came together in our whole school to enjoy inflatables, face painting, magic shows, balloon modelling, ice cream.......
And we had a huge school lunch together!!

Primary 3 enjoyed last earning about different foods from 2000 years ago and how bread was a special part of the diet. They discovered all about food in Ireland, making dough and decorating a Celtic bracelet.
What a lovely time it is when we can travel around and learn outside out school building again!!!
A special thank you to the parents who helped us out on our trip!
Everyone really enjoyed smelling, tasting and experimenting with different bread types in P3! We love the describing words used for each type of bread, some breads were:
soft
squishy
fluffy
crusty
warm
cosy
We even did a fun drama role play with Nurture in 5 steps Ben who taught us how to roll, spread, pat and help our partners with great calming and relaxation techniques.
Lots more fun with this interesting topic to explore this term!
P3H have been learning about the journey of Bread. They have enjoyed smelling, feeling and tasting some bread.
They have also been moulding bread types with play dough, role playing with The Gingerbread Man story characters, creating musical pieces about bread on the iPads and lots more fun activities.

The beautiful chicks hatched and the children loved talking about them, feeling them and experiencing seeing the chicks walk, nibble and peck at them!!

Primary 3 enjoying taking part in a STEM lesson experimenting with types of seeds and oats for birds. The children loved moulding fat balls for our school garden!
They also loved using dead leaves, twigs and moss to create bird nests........
P3 think outdoor learning is the best........
Birds, birds, birds
Primary 3 have been enjoying learning all the facts about birds. They have been drawing birds, painting birds, writing bird poems, building birds from Lego, building bird houses, doing science experiments making beaks and even enjoyed a talk from Mr Poots, who LOVES all types of birds in his garden!
Everyone has really enjoyed this topic and knows so much about BIRDS!
