Both P4 classes had a wonderful sports day. All children tried their best! It was lovely to welcome parents back to our sports day after 3 years. Thank you for coming to support everyone!

The boys and girls enjoyed making pancakes today in class to celebrate Shrove Tuesday. They were delicious!
Yesterday P4R had a workshop around WW2 in which we built Anderson Shelters. The children were tasked with rolling paper tubes, punching holes and then assembling the frame. Once they had this figured out, it was time to put the roof on. After break we went outside to gather our camouflaging materials. This workshop was a great way to expand on the WW2 topic, World Around Us and STEM.
Today we enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Palace Stables in Armagh. The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about World War Two. We even made our own identification cards and went down into an Air Raid shelter! Well done to everyone who dressed up today as an evacuee. You all looked the part!
Thanks to all of you who donated to this charity before Christmas. On Friday 17th December we all wore our Christmas jumpers or festive outfits.
We raised a phenomenal £735.40 so many thanks. The cheque was handed over this morning to Rebecca who came into school to represent this very worthy charity.
In light of anti-bullying week, P4 focused on being BLUE – Be Loving and Understanding to Everyone. As a class we discussed what it is to be kind to one another, not only inside the classroom but everywhere. P4 had the opportunity to write a kind sentence about two different peers in the classroom. These were then posted into our BLUE box and read aloud to the class. We really enjoyed anti-bullying week and I hope we can be BLUE every day!
P4 took part in a singing performance during a small KS1 assembly. Isn’t their singing amazing, not to mention the actions! Well done to everyone who stood up with so much confidence and sang their hearts out. We loved performing in front of the other classes and we can’t wait to do it again.
