Yesterday afternoon, P5P invited our P7 class to work with and collaborate with them on building and extending their knowledge and understanding of using the IZAK 9 cubes and how to work as part of a team. This fantastic numeracy resource is used primarily in Key Stage 2, so this was a fitting opportunity for the P7 pupils to aid their P5 counterparts. As you can see from the photographs, children worked well together and communicated effectively. P5 will appreciate this extra assistance when they use the blocks for their upcoming Shared Education numeracy lessons. Many thanks to Mr Poots for inviting our class to help.
