P4S Enjoy a STEM morning
8th Feb 2022
Today James from Sentinus visited our classroom to help us make Anderson Shelters. The children had to roll sheets of paper into tight tubes to make the main structure. They then added a cardboard cover which they decorated to resemble the grass and food which would have covered real thing. James dropped weights on his shelter to show us how strong it was. The children were amazed at its sturdiness considering it was made from just paper and cardboard. Today's lesson was a fun and interesting way to increase our knowledge of our WAU topic, WW2.
