P2 LM learned all about the importance of kind words, we all wore odd socks to remind us that we are all different!
P4S loved wearing their odd socks to school this week. Our odd socks reminded us of how we are all different and that we should celebrate our differences and uniqueness. After all, the world would be a very boring place if we were all identical!! As the theme for this year’s Anti-bullying week was ‘One Kind Word’, we wrote down as many kind words as we could and then took turns to say kind things to each other. We also enjoyed an assembly from Sarah Emerson (Scripture Union) where we learnt that in the bible it says in
Ephesians Chapter 4 verse 9: When you talk, don’t say anything bad, but say the good things that people need ——- whatever will help them grow.
We decided that this will be our new class motto.

One Kind Word is the theme for Anti - Bullying Week 2021. In P5P, we wrote and drew about the different ways that you can be kind at home, School, or in the community. We also tied it in with our RE work this week, studying how Jesus showed Kindness through his actions. A useful video, Jesus helps me show Kindness, can be found on Youtube.

Primary 3 were learning all about Anti-bullying week by using this year’s theme- one kind word!!
They watched kindness videos, chose a person in the class to be kind to for the next week and designed a kindness tree.
Kindness is the key to happiness and it is FREE!
The children loved their topic on Vikings and they produced excellent pieces of work, exploring different aspects of life as a Viking. We have displayed this work outside our classroom and thought we would share with you.
