The last activity I’m sharing for P7T 2018/2019 is a fun activity that kids did in literacy during a non-uniform day in term 3. Pupils had to create a riddle based on someone or something that they knew. They then had to read out their riddle to the rest of the class to see if can figure out the riddle. Listening skills and modelled reading on show. A memorable activity that showcases the genuine, fun-loving nature of this class. Thanks.

Pupils and staff were treated to a wonderful afternoon spectacle of song, dance and piano playing from the participants of We've Got Talent 2019. A fun afternoon had by all. Many thanks to Asda for supplying drinks and snacks, many thanks to Steve and Paul from Healthy Kidz for judging and many thanks to Paul for supporting acts with their music. Many congratulations to all participants, but most of all, well done to the winning act Aimee and Megan for their winning act of Irish Dancing. The winners take home the big We've Got Talent trophy, with each performer taking home a trophy! Everyone also got a forty pound gift voucher for Sketchers. Brilliant! Inspirational stuff all round!
Linked to our WAU topic 'Wish you were here!' the children have been learning about materials and their properties. Their technology homework challenge this term was to make a boat that floats. Have a look at their amazing boats of all shapes, sizes and colours using a variety of different materials. The children enjoyed testing their boats in the sunshine. What a tremendous effort, we are so proud of you and love what you made at home with mums and dads. Well done everyone.
P3 had a brilliant time exploring the Apple Farm in Armagh. We got a tour of all of the machinery used to make apple juice and got to make and taste our own honey and apple juice!
Big congratulations to 11 children who got placed in the recent Orienteering competition. The children had a great morning at Navan centre recieving their medals and certificates.
P3 had an amazing time exploring Todd's Leap. We went on an Adventure Trail and enjoyed building den's! We learnt lots about different animals and had a fantastic time on the zip line!
