P7MM completed literacy activities during the week linked to World Book Day. They did lots of reading and created a comic strip from a story familiar to them with super results.

They were asked to submit a photo of themselves reading in an unusual place or in an unusual position! (nothing dangerous of course!). Some excellent photos were sent in! Well done P7MM for joining in the fun😊

Being at home doing online learning didn’t stop P2LM celebrating World Book Day!
The pupils carried out different activities all week linked to it.

One task was to draw their favourite character from a fairy tale, from a book they have read from Oxford Owls or from a book they have at home.

We received some super illustrations. Well done P2. 😊📖

This month we have been finding out about people who help us in our community and how they help us. We drew pictures and made models with our adults of emergency vehicles. Children also had lots of fun with action songs and tongue twisters! We practised our fine and gross motor skills with lots of activities including pencil twirls, a dough disco, throwing and catching. We developed our counting skills by placing stamps on envelopes, taking part in a pattern hunt and identifying numbers in our environment. St. Valentine’s Day brought lots of fun with making cards, talking about people we love, baking and a Valentine Disco!
Have a look below at a selection of our learning whilst at home.

Another month of remote learning.

We have enjoyed learning about people in our community who help us, how they help us and the equipment they use.  The children have been very creative making lovely pictures, experimenting with using crayons, paints, chalks etc.  They have explored patterns, discovered ways to help the earth, played co-operatively to achieve a goal, perfected tongue twisters and made something for someone special. We have also really enjoyed dancing with dough and joining in with a variety of songs and rhymes.  Everyone had fun designing, planning and creating models with flair and imagination as part of our Education Works theme for the Getting Ready To Learn programme.  Thank you for getting involved,  your models are brillant!

Enjoy looking through the photos!
