P5DK had a lovely afternoon with Laura from National Museums NI. She worked with the children on a new programme called ‘Museum on the Move’. This involved the children listening and watching Laura online and a series of video clips. She spoke to them about the topic ‘Home on the Farm’. The children learnt what life was like on a farm 100 years ago compared to life on a modern farm. Laura also delivered a box of real life objects that would have been used 100 years ago. The children got to hold and touch these items and work out what and how they were used. It was a very enjoyable and informative afternoon.
Our class took part in session two of the Boundaries programme delivered by REIM Training Solutions. In the first session, parents joined the P7 pupils on a virtual session. The final session next week will be for parents only.
