Primary 7 had a great afternoon experimenting with cold water. They were tasked to consider the effects of cold water on the human body. Some predicted you would shiver, some thought your skin would change colour and some said you would be in shock. When Titanic sunk, most people died because of the coldness rather than drowning under the water. A sad thought but one we would be looking at in more detail with this experiment. Children enjoyed placing their hands in cold water to see how it affected their dexterity and movement while building Jenga blocks. We all concluded that cold water did indeed make a big difference to the human body. Pupils did a great job and really enjoyed it. As you can see from the pictures, the cold water had quite the impact. Well done, P7 🙂
