Birds, birds, birds
Primary 3 have been enjoying learning all the facts about birds. They have been drawing birds, painting birds, writing bird poems, building birds from Lego, building bird houses, doing science experiments making beaks and even enjoyed a talk from Mr Poots, who LOVES all types of birds in his garden!
Everyone has really enjoyed this topic and knows so much about BIRDS!
P7 enjoyed finding out more about the new Hart Memorial Weather Station. Many thanks to Armagh Observatory for lending us a weather station to monitor the local weather. P7 pupils will be recording live data, and updating the rest of the school on the weather forecast. Great job 😀
We used different objects and predicted if they would float or sink. We had so much fun completing the experiment! We were all amazed that Lego actually floats!!!! Check out our pictures......
Congratulations to Lilly on receiving a special award from the Eco Committee for the best anti-litter poster in Primary 1!
This week the boys and girls in P1TE have enjoyed being scientists! Have a look at some of the fun experiments we have been conducting! We have been busy making cornflour slime, making a volcano, colour mixing with sweets and making a tornado in a bottle. We have also enjoyed fizzy colour mixing, making raisins dance and making boats that float!
Congratulations to Lukas!
