We have been doing more work on staying safe on the internet this term.
We did lots of work using the story Digiduck’s Famous Friend story and wrote his top 5 tips for staying safe when online. 👏👏
We have been working on speed, agility and hand-eye coordination in our Healthy Kidz sessions.
We were delighted when Miss Shipley brought Big Ted to meet the P2 classes! It was lovely to hear all about him and we asked lots of interesting questions.

P2LM also got to meet Mrs Heare’s teddy - Donald. She loves him so much, even though he has a few bits missing!
On Friday, the whole school participated in Number Day, to raise funds for NSPCC. The children came to school dressed in clothes with digits and then had great fun participating in numerous maths activities. P6M thoroughly enjoyed searching the school grounds for different sizes of angles.
Today was NSPCC Number Day and P4S had fun measuring themselves with rulers, metre sticks and measuring tapes. They collected the data into a table and then investigated to see if the tallest child had the biggest hands and feet. The children also dressed up in Number themed clothes which ranged from sports tops and self-decorated t-shirts to an evacuee costume complete with evacuee label which had lots of numbers on it. We had a great day.
The children had lots of fun engaging in many activites for NSPCC Numbers Day. They enjoyed dressing up and raising lots of money for this very worthy cause. Thank you to all for your support.
