We had a great last day together!!! We had a picnic and went on the adventure trail🤩 ❤️
Primary 3 enjoyed last earning about different foods from 2000 years ago and how bread was a special part of the diet. They discovered all about food in Ireland, making dough and decorating a Celtic bracelet.
What a lovely time it is when we can travel around and learn outside out school building again!!!

P5DK are learning about farming during their WAU lessons this term. They have enjoyed drawing and painting tractors in art this week and last week.
Both P7 classes have been and will be involved in a number of workshops to help with the transition from Primary School to Secondary School. Last week we had Laura, from the organisation Connecting Minds with staff and Year 8 pupils from Clounagh Junior High School exploring the importance and benefits of mindfulness and positive thinking.

Everyone really enjoyed smelling, tasting and experimenting with different bread types in P3! We love the describing words used for each type of bread, some breads were:
soft
squishy
fluffy
crusty
warm
cosy
We even did a fun drama role play with Nurture in 5 steps Ben who taught us how to roll, spread, pat and help our partners with great calming and relaxation techniques.
Lots more fun with this interesting topic to explore this term!
Primary 7 enjoyed their transition workshop with Cormac and Carlos from HIP. They learned about being organised and prepared as they make the big step forward in moving into Post Primary in September. 😀
Last week, Aaron visited our classroom to demonstrate some of the nurture principles. We practised some breathing exercises, some stretches and we got active!
