The P2 classes were treated to a fantastic assembly by the Baptist Church where we took a journey through the Bible, hearing lots of stories! We even got to dress up from the Bible times.
P5DK had a very special visitor all the way from Ancient Egypt. She taught the children about everyday life and showed them some of the things that would have been used back then. The children had a VERY enjoyable morning.

We had a visit from two officers of the PSNI last week who told us all about Stranger Danger and Firework Safety. They also mentioned how electric scooters are illegal for those under 16!!!
Today the P7s were treated to an amazing show of animals that live in the Amazon Jungle. The children had the chance to hold and pet lizards, a chameleon, a python, a giant millipede and a tortoise. We also got to see a tarantula and a scorpion up close - we didn't get to touch these, although we're not sure how many takers we would have had for that even if we had been allowed to!!
