The boys and girls enjoyed making pancakes today in class to celebrate Shrove Tuesday. They were delicious!
We talked about pancakes and why we have them on Pancake Tuesday.
We tried 4 different toppings on pancakes and voted for our favourite.

For the first time in three years, P7T were able to complete their 'Play in a Day'. Hannah from Konflux Theatre led pupils through a playscript all about Internet Safety. This topic was chosen because of its importance for pupils. The play acted as a fantastic reminder for pupils to stop, block and tell if a stranger contacts them online. As well as that, it helped to improve listening skills and their drama abilities. Pupils did a great job working with Hannah, and as you can see from the pictures, had a lot of fun.
P6M participated in the Young Enterprise Our World Programme. They discussed the exporting and importing of goods around the world. They also used a map with a scale to measure and calculate the distance that some of the foods travelled to get to us.
P6M have been learning about Fairtrade as part of their World Around Us Topic, this term. They created a pencil study of a Fairtrade farmer before drawing it on a polystyrene sheet. The children then created a print of this image by painting the sheet and transferring it on to white card, with amazing results.
