Johnny and Mark from The Fire Service gave P5P a very useful and informative talk on Fire Safety in the home. All of the children listened really well and fully intend to check all of the safety hints that they were given when they get home.

Today for ‘International Women’s Day’ one of our P1 boys very kindly brought in a bunch of flowers for each girl in our class to celebrate, which made them all feel very special indeed! We then took the opportunity to explore what it means to celebrate this day within today’s PDMU lesson.
The children enjoyed working as part of a group to problem solve, using Izak 9 cubes.
P6 enjoyed flipping their pancakes. Their favourite topping was chocolate spread. Yummy!!!
P4S enjoyed a visit fromJack this morning. He came into our classroom to deliver the PIPS Home Support Gimmee5 program to the children. This is a very child friendly wellbeing program based on 5 elements: connect with others, be active, take notice of your surroundings, keep learning and give.
The children thoroughly enjoyed their morning.
