Our P1 children had a fabulous Sports Day engaging in many fun activities. A little rain didn't dampen our enthusiasm and the children all tried their very best. A big thank you to all our P7 helpers, Coach Steve and all our parents/guardians who came along to support their little ones.
We went outside and watched for all the different vehicles driving past. We used our transport survey sheet to record our findings. 🚗🚲🚌🚛
We have started making Samson and Goliath, the Harland and Wolff cranes as part of our topic of the Titanic. It involves lots of planning, discussion, using our thinking skills and problem-solving.

We went out into the sunshine today to do a traffic survey as part of our Transport topic. We wanted to see what was the most popular mode of transport that passed by our school. We found cars to be the most popular with lorries the second most popular.
We didn’t see any bicycles or motorbikes while we were there.
We got lots of waves and beeps of horns from motorists passing!
The P6 children took part in a Healthy Me workshop this morning. They discussed ways to keep both their body and mind healthy and strategies to cope with stressful or difficult times in life.
