Today in school we did our sponsored fitness circuit with athlete David Thompson. The kids had all great fun! 🤩
Olympic Athlete, David Thompson, visited our school today. The children really enjoyed completing a High Intensity Training session with David first thing this morning to waken them up!! We then had an inspiring assembly were David told us about the hard work he had to put in and the challenges he overcame to qualify for the Olympic Games. He told the children that to be successful in anything in life, you must work hard and stick at it!
We wrapped up warm this afternoon to have 15 minutes fun in the snow. The sky was incredibly blue and the air was so, so fresh. We had great fun.
P6 travelled to Armagh Museum to take part in a monoprinting art session. What a great time was had by all!
Well done to all the children who dressed up & got involved in the competition. Some fabulous outfits & great ideas for decorating the potatoes & toilet roll tubes. 👏🏼🤩👍🏻👌🏻

We had a fantastic day visiting the Ulster American Folk Park in Omagh as part of our topic of the Famine. It brought history to life!
We were able to see what life was like in famine times and heard the story of emigration to America in the 19th century on the ‘coffin ships’. It was amazing to go around the different buildings and see how they were in those times. The weather was kind to us too😊
The children took part in a variety of Internet Safety activities to encourage them to be responsible online but also to know how to deal with cyberbullying. The class Digital Leaders led a lesson with related activities.
