We have enjoyed sketching autumn leaves, observational painting of apples and printing autumn trees.
This morning Julie from the Dogs’ Trust visited our class to tell us how to stay safe around Dogs. She had 2 friends with her and we enjoyed petting them.
Today, P5P were treated to a “ How to create a PowerPoint” tutorial by Mrs Kinghan from the ICT Team. The boys and girls thoroughly enjoyed this and have already made a start on their first slides. Thanks so much, Mrs Kinghan!
Autumn fun! We have enjoyed making vegetable soup, carving a pumpkin, mixing paint to make orange for pumpkin pictures, brushing up crunchy autumn leaves and lots more inside and outside!
This month we welcomed visitors from Oxford Island, the PSNI and the Amazing Journing Experience from Baptist Youth. We worked together problem solving with IZAK9. Primary 3F had lots of practise reading, following and writing instructions. We are very good at being bossy! We also undertook a science experiment in order to show how pollination occurs- this included lots of nectar (disguised as cheesy wotsits!).
Some of the children wore costumes to school today. Didn’t they look great. Also we have been working hard on our tree collages. We are proud of the results.
We loved having a non uniform day to get us in the mood for half term! 🎃🎃🎃
