The children predicted that it would take 2 months for them to sprout so they were shocked and delighted to see little seedlings within 48 hours. We also did a science investigation to find out the conditions needed to make seeds grow. We found out that they need water, light and warmth. The children were amazed to see that seeds which sprouted in the dark produced very pale and weak seedlings.
