Activity Based Learning is super fun when we can practise spellings in the sand, build mini beast models with construction toys, for example Lego and Knex and learn about different apps on the class IPads.
We also enjoyed a fabulous Art lesson using different brush sizes, various colours of paint and understanding how to use sensible brush strokes.

We started our Healthy Kidz sessions with Coach Steve. The boys and girls all loved it and took part in all of the games and activities really well.
P5P have been trialling Minecraft Education in Class. Minecraft helps the boys and girls with planning ahead, problem solving, sharing and working together. It can also help with reading, writing and many History topics.
We love having Steve back taking our Healthy Kidz sessions! Today we worked on developing our speed, agility and changing direction. 🏃♂️
Today we took our learning outside. The children thoroughly enjoyed measuring natural objects in the outdoors. We measured twigs, stones, flowers and much more. Last week we also had fun using our number bonds to play a dice game. We used calculators too. We have come to the conclusion that ......... MATHS IS FUN!
P3 using music and dance, rhythm and song to enjoy moving like mini beasts and other animals. This week we explored mini beasts in our school grounds.
We were also learning about throwing a ball with two hands and catching with two hands. We learnt a new throw called “underarm throwing”.

First week of fun and games, P3 were playing parachute games, searching for letters in their alphabet hunt, adding in pairs with our shoes and exploring numbers and words that we know!
