P7MM are looking really festive and are all set for their Santa run around school today.

We have been very busy this month both indoors and out. We have been experimenting with water, collecting water from the water butt and using it at the water area and also to water the plants. We have been mixing colours with paint and chalk. Our playground has become very colourful. The addition of the sheds has allowed the children to access the resources they need independently and also return them letting them take ownership of their play. The small loose parts has been very popular indoors with children using their imaginations to create their own stories and pictures.

Newsdesk is a very useful way to source information, whilst also improving reading and comprehension skills. This morning, P5P learned how to post their own comments after they have read an article. Everyone was excited to see their reviews on the screen.

We have been developing our gross motor skills of climbing, balancing and swinging with Coach Steve during our Healthy Kids sessions; lots of gymnastics fun in the hall!
We have grown in our confidence and independance both inside and outside. We are also doing a great job of independantly accessing resources and putting them away when we are finished.
