Today we enjoyed planting broad beans as part of our Spring WAU topic. We also linked this with the story ‘Jack and the beanstalk’.
Now we are looking forward to watching them grow!
This month in Nursery has been very busy. We have become proud parents and have learned lots about how to look after our chicks. We have been developing our communication skills and our ability to work together.
It is so exciting to see our sunflowers starting to grow. 🌻
We all had a taste of the cress we grew. Some weren’t so keen!
- Look at all the learning that has been taking place. We have been working together, developing our fine motor skills and persevering to complete an activity. This month we have even had little chicks in our class, such an exciting time and we had to very patient waiting for them to hatch!
P5DK have really enjoyed gymnastics as part of the Healthy Kidz lessons this term. Here are some photographs to show what they have been doing.
We had a lot of winners for collecting money for our Sponsored Fitness Day with top athlete David Thompson on Monday 13 March.
David and Noel from Portadown Fire Service spoke to both P5 Classes about Fire Safety, especially in the home. We are all grateful for them giving up their time to visit and speak to us.
