Jenson brought his guitar to school today to entertain his class and we were all so impressed. Have a listen.
We enjoyed our trip to the SALTO gymnastics centre today. The children had lots of fun in the foam pit race, obstacle course and dropping from the bar. We headed on to Wallace Park for lunch and some fun in the adventure playground. We really had a great day.
We had so much fun taking part in the various activities this morning. Thankfully the weather was on our side for such a lovely morning of fun.
We have been enjoying some summer art this week. The best part was designing ice creams with our favourite flavours.

We have enjoyed making clay rainbow fish. We moulded our clay into a rainbow fish shape before smoothing out and adding sparkly sequin scales. We also used clay tools to add stripes to the fins and tail before adding an eye and mouth. Finally, we painted our rainbow fish.
During our World Around Us lesson today in P1 we were testing our boats in the water tray to see if they would float or sink. Thankfully ALL of our boats stayed afloat! 😀
We worked in groups to design and make a model of the Harland and Wolff cranes, Samson and Goliath.
The design had to have a moving part and be able to lift a load.
This task involved using many of our skills including sharing opinions, working well and co-operating with others, organising and planning, experimenting with ideas, generating solutions, suggesting ways to improve and seeking advice where necessary.
Some fantastic results!
