On Wednesday, the P7 classes welcomed some very interesting animals into our school. It was an educational and fun afternoon.

This week we have had fun measuring ourselves, using metres and centimetres. We’ve also been concentrating on kindness and learnt the Little Rainbow Fish finally made friends when he was kind and generous. In art we made rainbow fish. See if you can spot their one shiny scale!

We used our fingerprints to make swirls and create different patterns on a page. We did this in pairs and worked on turn taking and communicating with each other, using positional language.

We filled up our star jar and earned a lovely ice cream treat 😊 We got stars for making good choices, behaviour and kindness!

This afternoon P5D planned and carried out a Science Experiment while ensuring it was a fair test. They had to try and work out which solid or liquid would be best at preserving (Mummifying - like during Egyptian times) pears. They had a super time - here are some photos to show what they did. Now they have to wait 2 weeks to see if their predictions are correct.

P6M enjoyed creating an App of their life, to tell their new teacher about the things that are important to them. Each App looked fantastic. Well done boys and girls!
