This week P3 explored dice games in pairs, a minibeast hunt around our school grounds, ABL fun with role play Vet's corner, measuring and comparing length, running our first P3 golden mile and much, much more.........

We have been learning all about Giuseppe Arcimboldo and creating our very own fruit face pictures!

As part of our WAU topic work (Trees) we recently walked over to Corcrain to have a look at the trees and collect various natural materials. The children thoroughly enjoyed spotting the signs of autumn and finding seeds, multicoloured leaves, etc. We brought our bags of materials back to school where we used them to make ‘mandalas’ which we then photographed for our display. As you can see from the pictures, the children’s art work was fabulous.

P4 enjoyed a lovely Nature Walk on Wednesday as part of our World Around Us and Art topics. We explored the surroundings and gathered natural objects that we could use as part of our Art lesson. Have a look at us exploring and creating, as well as our finished products 🌳🍁🌸🍃

Our P1 boys and girls are settling in well and are enjoying the variety of indoor and outdoor play activities on offer.

We are so pleased with how all the girls and boys in P1 have settled in. This week we have been learning about the letter ‘s’ and the number 1. We have also had our first Healthy Kidz lesson with Coach Steve.
