The following policies have been added to the school website for consultation:

  1. Art and Design
  2. Numeracy

Consultation is an important aspect of policy implementation whereby stakeholders have the opportunity to contribute to procedures and provision within an particular area of school life.
Please take some time to read the policies and provide feedback using the form on the same web page.  The feedback will go directly to Mr Frizzell only.  All feedback is helpful, even if it is just to say 'I agree.'

To access these policies, go to 'About Us' tab on the school website and then 'Policy Consultation.'

The above policies will be up for 2 weeks from Wednesday 29th May 2024.

Thank you.

P3 are still investigating the topic of BREAD.  They have enjoyed mixing ingredients together, blending and moulding dough and then adding to the frying pan.  Tasting was one of the best parts.....

No bake bread was a REAL FAVOURITE!

During ABL they used drama skills in the role play bakery, numeracy problem solving skills at the games table and baking games on the iPads.

To end this week the children enjoyed tasting a crisp sandwich with the Portadown famous Irwin’s Bakery NUTTY KRUST loaf.

Pleas enjoy browsing our photos full of fun.

This term our topic has been ‘Sun, Sea and Sand’.

We have thoroughly enjoyed learning about travelling to different countries, investigating what the term “waterproof” means and hearing the story of Rainbow fish. Our classroom has become a ‘sea’ of beautiful art work and we particularly enjoyed making the rainbow fish from clay and adding shiny paint to make them look extra special.

We went outside this afternoon to practise using the lights to cross the road safely as one of our Walk to School Week activities.

We remembered to stop, look and listen even after the green man shows before crossing and we must never run across the road!

We had a great afternoon playing in the sun ☀️ Mr Frizzell paid us a visit and even had a go on the ‘massive feet’. He actually had great co-ordination, balance and control!
