We had 11 cyclists from P6 who completed their training this year. On our first session we had a visit from our local PSNI officers, who checked that everyone’s bike was in good condition. They also gave each child a special LED light for their bike. Over the sessions the children learnt how to cycle safely and carry out manoeuvres such as stopping and parking, turning left and right, passing a parked car and emergency stop. We also had to complete a Highway Code Test. The children worked very hard and were awarded with certificates at the end of the course. Well done to all.
