On Wednesday 12th June, all children in P1 to P3 classes who took part in Shared Education this year with Presentation PS had a wonderful time at their end of year fun day. They spent the day getting their faces painted, going on the inflatables, dancing, playing games and eating ice lollies. Here are some photos to show what they did.
These children have been working very hard to earn Mathletics certificates this term. Some boys and girls also received a certificate for walking or cycling to school for one full week during Walk to School Week.
P5-P7 pupils participated in competitive and fun events at the 2024 Hart Olympics, in small teams. Winners from each year group will be awarded their prizes in a special Olympic Ceremony next week. We are very proud of all the boys and girls who took part.
We had 11 cyclists from P6 who completed their training this year. On our first session we had a visit from our local PSNI officers, who checked that everyone’s bike was in good condition. They also gave each child a special LED light for their bike. Over the sessions the children learnt how to cycle safely and carry out manoeuvres such as stopping and parking, turning left and right, passing a parked car and emergency stop. We also had to complete a Highway Code Test. The children worked very hard and were awarded with certificates at the end of the course. Well done to all.
