What a great day absolutely full jam packed full of fun activities to enjoy.

Over the last few days we have been having lots of fun making food for our class Christmas party. We have made jelly in our World Around Us lesson, looking at how jelly dissolves in hot water. We have also enjoyed making melting snowman biscuits. This morning, we joined our other P1 friends in our assembly hall for a Christmas disco and ended up very tired after all of our dancing!! We are now really excited about our Christmas Fun Day tomorrow!

It is always good fun to meet up with our friends from Presentation PS. On this occasion, we all worked together to create a Christmas story using Book Creator. The finished stories were excellent!

We made tasty Rice Krispie Christmas puddings in class today! Hopefully they made it home before they were gobbled up!!!

Today we enjoyed going on a walk around our school grounds, looking for signs of winter. We had fun completing our winter hunt checklist and the boys and girls took fantastic photos of their findings, including winter flowers, leaves, pine cones, hats, gloves and berries.

P6 classes worked together to complete a series of Izak 9 tasks. Our favourite task was The Eliminator.

This week P5D have been learning how to write instructions in Literacy. They have been reading a variety of instruction texts during guided reading sessions, using this knowledge to write instructions and then following instructions to enjoy making hot chocolate and decorating gingerbread men.
