Today we carried out an experiment to find out whether 6 classroom items would sink or float. We made a prediction for each item and then tested whether it would sink to the bottom of the container or float to the top. Then we tested our boats that the boys and girls had made as a technology project, to see if they would float! Thankfully all of our boats stayed afloat!

P2LM tried out the new benches beside the pond today. We had a look at what was living in the pond, discussed the frog lifecycle again and finished off with some songs!

P7L have been building their own rooms, using different materials. They took inspiration from the designs we saw learning about the Titanic, how advanced and luxurious it was.

On Monday 16th June, P5D walked into Portadown to visit the local library. The children really enjoyed finding out about the different activities they can do at the library, how to to become a member and borrow books. They are all excited about starting the reading challenge the library is running this summer.

We had a great morning with Mr Hullabaloo. We loved listening and taking part in the stories he told about the Australian bear, Peter Pan and Goldilocks.

P5D visited Bullsbrook Farm in Dromore today. They have been learning about farming in their WAU lessons this term. Rebecca and Roy showed us around the farm and the boys and girls had a very fun and educational trip.
