On Thursday 3rd October we had a real life Ancient Egyptian came to visit P5D. The boys and girls got to learn all about life in Ancient Egypt. It was a very interesting afternoon that they all throughly enjoyed.

We’ve had a great first month in P4. We’ve been measuring outdoors and we’ve painted and created fabulous fabric trees as part of our WAU topic for this term. We are really pleased with our display.

We all had super fun in ABL this week! We were building Bees with lego, moulding caterpillars and butterflies from play dough. We even learnt about a family roleplay area and found rhyming words with our Literacy games.

In P5P today, we trialled Minecraft Education. As well as developing Coding capabilities, Minecraft Education is an excellent way to expand imagination and creativity, strengthen problem solving skills and also develop the ability to collaborate and work together. It’s also great fun!

We have been having lots of fun during playtime. Our topic for this term is Myself & My Home.
We have been washing babies in the water tray. We have been making different types of houses using junk materials. Check out our dough faces, showing different types of expressions.

We have been settling into Nursery, learning lots of new routines, making friends, learning to share and take turns and having fun outside!

Pupils in P5D loved using the IZAK 9 cubes to compete problem solving tasks in Numeracy today. They worked very well in groups and had great fun.
