The first day of our Manchester trip was a long but great day. After making our way across the water we visited Chester zoo, full of wild animals (and P7s). Now we have settled down in our hotel, washed and ready for bed. Here are a few pictures from our first day.

Our Digital Leaders took part in training with James from the Amma Centre, last month. They then put their new learning and skills into practise and taught our class how to create their own game using MakeCode Arcade. We were very impressed and thoroughly enjoyed our session. Thanks to the P7 Digital Leaders who also came along to help us.

Yesterday we met Matthew, the tax collector, a Samaritan lady, Mary Magdalene and, most exciting of all, a Roman Centurion, who were all characters in the Amazing Journey. We learnt about how Jesus played an important role in their life journeys and how their lives were changed by meeting with Jesus.
We also got to dress up in the type of clothes worn in bible times and try out some foods eaten back then. We really had a very interesting and informative afternoon. It was also great to see a Roman soldier and examine his weapons and uniform as we are learning about the Romans in our latest WAU topic.
