An action packed day visiting the Etihad, the Science Museum, shopping at the Trafford centre and finishing with a game of bowling. Bring on Alton Towers!
Yesterday we met Matthew, the tax collector, a Samaritan lady, Mary Magdalene and, most exciting of all, a Roman Centurion, who were all characters in the Amazing Journey. We learnt about how Jesus played an important role in their life journeys and how their lives were changed by meeting with Jesus.
We also got to dress up in the type of clothes worn in bible times and try out some foods eaten back then. We really had a very interesting and informative afternoon. It was also great to see a Roman soldier and examine his weapons and uniform as we are learning about the Romans in our latest WAU topic.
