Ollie from P7 came to read us a story on Tuesday. We loved hearing him reading as he used lots of expression.
P3 really enjoyed their ABL today. We were playing snakes and ladders, drawing Christmas pictures on the computer, constructing things from blocks and playing teachers.
Both P2 classes got together to investigate what happened when plastic, wood, metal and paper were placed in water. We went back to our classes and recorded our findings.
We enjoyed our first trip with our shared education school Christian Brothers. It was great fun playing with our new friends in Peter Pan’s and having snack together.
Congratulations to David Goncalves on his Gold Medal winning performance at the Northwest Open Judo Championships. Well done, David!
P5DK took part in their Shared Education project during November. The project initially looked at the similarities and differences that exist between themselves and the P5 children from Presentation PS. They then completed a series of lessons looking at different places of worship which included; St. Columba's COI, St Patrick's RC and a Jewish Synagogue. P5DK have been learning how to complete a Numeracy activity on the SEESAW App. They were learning how to tell the time and instead of doing a written activity in their school book, Mrs Davison asked them to complete a task using the I pads.
