P7 pupils have arrived safely with our Presentation counterparts to Corrymeela. The weather has been brilliant all day as we have got settled into our new surroundings. The children have been taking part in ice breaker activities and had a lovely dander down to the beach. The children have been well fed, and have been having lots of fun playing. It really is lovely to see everyone getting on so well. A great start made!

Good evening everyone,

The bus will be leaving school tomorrow morning at 9am. Pupils can enter school at the normal time. Any medications need to be properly labelled(what for, and how often), and given to me in the morning for safe keeping.

Below is a list that children will need:

  • Tracksuit bottoms
  • They can bring shorts - but weather looks to be cold enough.
  • T-Shirts
  • Socks and underwear
  • A coat
  • A hoodie/jumper
  • Two pairs of shoes - one old, one good
  • Toiletries - Toothbrush and toothpaste, shower gel and a towel. Make-up if necessary.
  • I prefer pupils not to bring straighteners
  • £5 money for Burger King on Friday coming home, loose change (less than £5 for onsite vending machines)

This would be a good start for kids - they can bring a book or a magazine for the journey up and down. Disposable cameras, not digital.

We will be back before 3pm on Friday. We have an exciting program ahead.

Thanks very much,

C. Teggarty

P4A have loved hearing about Sophie’s hockey success for Lurgan Hockey Club. She recently received a medal for scoring and her team came 3rd in a large tournament. Keep up the great work!
