This month our topic has been 'Homes' and we have been learning about Goldilocks visiting the 3 bears house. We have been busy exploring colour and size as we engaged in sorting and matching activities. It was good fun blowing BIG bubbles in the water and investigating how to mix colours to make a brown colour to use in our paintings. Have a look at all the fun we have been having but there was lots lots more!
We made bear shaped Cookies in nursery.
Look at how we followed the recipe to measure, pour, mix, roll and cut out. Yum Yum!
We went on a bear hunt, it was a beautiful day! We couldn’t go over it, or under it, so we had to go through long wavy grass, thick oozy mud, a deep cold river, a dark forest and into a narrow gloomy cave, where we found ... a little cuddly bear!!!
We made porridge and enjoyed it for our snack. It wasn’t lumpy or cold!! It was delicious!

We went for a bear hunt outside and had fun re- inacting the story. We went through the long wavy grass, the deep cold river, the thick oozy mud, the big dark forest, the swirling whirling snowstorm and the NARROW GLOOMY CAVE!
This month we have been learning all about homes. We have really enjoyed the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears and learning about big, middle-sized and small. We turned our home corner into the Three Bears cottage and have had fun dressing up and re-telling the story.
