P7 Teggarty have recently had the opportunity to learn about the musicality of the Lambeg Drum and traditional Irish instruments. This has been completed in conjunction with the Armagh Rhymers, the Ulster Scots Society and the Craigavon Historical Society. This Shared Education initiative has been in partnership with our peers from Presentation Primary. As you can see below, the children had a blast! It was very different from doing literacy and numeracy. Children had a chance to express themselves, to be creative and most importantly, to have fun!
We were learning o'clock and half past the hour with our large inflatable clock. Miss Todd was impressed with our skills for telling the time.
