We went on a bear hunt, it was a beautiful day! We couldn’t go over it, or under it, so we had to go through long wavy grass, thick oozy mud, a deep cold river, a dark forest and into a narrow gloomy cave, where we found ... a little cuddly bear!!!
We made porridge and enjoyed it for our snack. It wasn’t lumpy or cold!! It was delicious!

We went for a bear hunt outside and had fun re- inacting the story. We went through the long wavy grass, the deep cold river, the thick oozy mud, the big dark forest, the swirling whirling snowstorm and the NARROW GLOOMY CAVE!
This month we have been learning all about homes. We have really enjoyed the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears and learning about big, middle-sized and small. We turned our home corner into the Three Bears cottage and have had fun dressing up and re-telling the story.

P6 children were learning about The Vikings as part of their World Around Us Topic in Term 1a. They recently enjoyed a trip to the Navan Centre, Armagh, to participate in Viking workshops and to meet a real Viking. The children had a fantastic time.
