We were learning o'clock and half past the hour with our large inflatable clock. Miss Todd was impressed with our skills for telling the time.

We had a fantastic day learning how to cook spring rolls and Chinese noodles in October. All of the children had the opportunity to taste these, but only if they could use chopsticks! This proved much tougher than we first thought. Rafaela became our champion chopsticker!!
On Tuesday 16th October P5DK travelled to the Ulster Museum in Belfast to take part in an Egyptian workshop and visit Dippy the Dinosaur. The children had a fantastic time getting to see a variety of different Egyptian artefacts and see the Egyptian Mummy 'Takabuti'. It was also very exciting to see the visitor the museum had on show - 'Dippy' the dinosaur. Here are some photographs to show what a great day they had.
P5DK did their class Assembly about Judaism. As part of the RE curriculum and Shared Education project they learnt about the Jewish religion. Here is a video of the Assembly they did for their parents on Friday 5th October.
P5DK are studying the Egyptians for WAU this half term. They had great fun using a variety of different materials to create and build pyramids. Here are some photographs to show you the masterpieces they built using marshmallows, cocktail sticks, straws, skewers and play dough.
