Primary 7 have been focusing on the life and times of Robert Hart throughout the school year. Today, Katie Leeper from Queen’s University, Belfast was here to share information and pictures of some artefacts that Hart collected over his life. Pupils will get the opportunity to see the artefacts up close and personal when we visit the University to observe his gatherings. Thanks again must go to David Weir from ABC council to help facilitate this setup.
Four children from our P7 classes did themselves and their teachers proud on Monday 4th February at St John the Baptist’s Pastoral Centre where they completed in this year’s Credit Union quiz. They finished just outside the top three; a great achievement given how difficult the questions were. A superb team effort - well done!
The children have been comparing items and deciding which were heavier or lighter. We then used a balance scale to test our materials and record our findings. We were taking turns and co-operating in our table groups.
Well done to Dylan and Jessie for earning their bronze and silver Mathletics certificates. Keep up the good work.
