This month we have been learning all about people who help us in our community and their jobs. We enjoyed taking on the roles of a doctor, nurse and patient in our hospital role play area, learning about the different bones in our body, sorting and recycling materials and lots more!
Mix a pancake, Stir a pancake, Pop it in the pan. Fry the pancake, Toss the pancake, Catch it (if you can.)
We followed a recipe and weighed the ingredients. Have a look at us enjoying the yummy pancakes.
We had a really fun morning together with Mrs McManus’s boys and girls when they came to visit us. We enjoyed a story and rhyme time and really enjoyed playing together.
People who Help Us
It has been a busy month with lots of visitors to our nursery. We have had fun learning about the hospital, skeletons and x-rays in our role play area, dressing up, making fire engines from junk art materials, painting people who help us pictures and filling medicine bottles in the water tray.
We had a great morning at Christian Brothers Nursery where we enjoyed a story and rhyme time together and some games in the school hall. We can’t wait for our next play day!
