Way back in the autumn, P4S planted conkers and acorns. We were so excited when they germinated and began to peep above the soil. The children were delighted to take their tree seedlings home today.
We had great fun making mini catapults and battery powered chariots as the technology/scientific element of our Romans WAU topic.
P4S had a great time on their Sports Day. They competed in the 100m sprint, 200m sprint, speed jump, obstacle race and medicine ball throw. Certificates and badges were awarded to all winners and participants.
The children were delighted to receive their Mathletics certificates for December.
We made some beautiful cards yesterday to be sent to our local nursing homes along with the food hampers. The children’s little drawings were fabulous and each drew a picture which represented the true meaning of Christmas.

David came in from Sentinus this morning to help us learn more about the weather. The children thoroughly enjoyed making their cloud rain blue raindrops. Before he left, he showed the children how to make lightning with a balloon, their hair and a bulb. It really was a very educational and exciting morning, enhancing our WAU topic of weather.
