Thank you.
The roads around school are very busy at home times and there are lost of things which can distract drivers. It is vitally important that pupils do not add to this.
Please look at the following poster and discuss it with your child.
Remember, stop, look and listen!
As we come to the end of the year in Nursery- what a celebration we had today! Coach Steve took us for lots of fun games and races. We had the ice cream man, bouncy castles, face painters and a picnic lunch on the field! We will really miss you all next year boys and girls.
With some nicer weather this month, we spent a lot more time outside. The children were very keen minibeast detectives- naming them, looking for them in our garden, under flower pots etc. There were lots of opportunities for mathematical development- talking about their colours, counting their spots, looking for patterns- eg a stripy bee, a spotty ladybird, ladybirds being symmetrical. We also carried this into our indoor play- using paint, junk materials and dough to make minibeasts.
This month we have been learning about People Who Help Us and enjoyed some lovely art activities for Valentine's day. We have been following instructions with Coach Steve and developing our gross motor skills- climbing, balancing, running and crawling. We have been working together in the sand and stone pit. We have been developing our imagination, making potions; pouring, measuring and mixing.
The arrangements relate to dressing up and also a whole-school competition (including Nursery).
Let's use WBD to encourage our children with their reading and its importance!
