Sean Scully is a Dublin based painter who took inspiration from the stone walls of Ireland and created many popular paintings imitating such features. P7T used a ruler, a pencil and some A3 paper to do exactly the same. Using a mixture of colours, pupils did a great job making their own creations. Well done P7

We decorated our classroom door to celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 5th March.
We enjoyed dressing up and bringing in our favourite books to share to celebrate World Book Day.
P7T did guided reading work on our class novel, ‘Under the Hawthorn Tree’ and produced a book report on our favourite books for World Book Day. The pictures below are children with their favourite books.
We celebrated World Book Day on Thursday 5th March. All classes had to decorate the classroom door for the event. We chose ‘Where’s Wally?’ and it looks fantastic!

To celebrate World Book Day all classes were asked to decorate their classroom door with their favourite books. In P1T/A we have been learning about Fairy Tales so each table group set about working on a fairy tale they enjoyed. Have a look at the children's enjoyment while taking part in this project. All their hard work paid off as we were awarded 1st Prize by members of the Board of Governors who were visiting school today. We are all delighted and thank you.
