We have started making Samson and Goliath, the Harland and Wolff cranes as part of our topic of the Titanic. It involves lots of planning, discussion, using our thinking skills and problem-solving.
P7 enjoyed asking questions to past pupils from Clounagh Junior High, about their school experiences to best prepare pupils for life in September.

P7s enjoyed a lovely day in school today celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The children made fabulous Queen collages this morning, then had an extended Healthy Kidz games session before having a party this afternoon, with a special visit from Mr Whippy!
The children had the time of their lives this week in Carlingford. We all tried lots of new activities and had lots of fun, with a few sweets and little bit of sleep thrown in for good measure 🙈 Enjoy the memories…
The children had the time of their lives this week in Carlingford. From kayaking to raft building, laser combat to high ropes and everything in between (including the odd sweet and a little bit of sleep!!), the children were fantastic and we hope they enjoyed themselves as much as we did!
Both P7 classes have been and will be involved in a number of workshops to help with the transition from Primary School to Secondary School. Last week we had Laura, from the organisation Connecting Minds with staff and Year 8 pupils from Clounagh Junior High School exploring the importance and benefits of mindfulness and positive thinking.
