This week we used the Crayola App to take photos and selfies. The App converted them into black and white line drawings. We printed these off and coloured them in% The results were amazing. We’ve also been using YouTube tutorials to draw minions and dragons. It’s been fun!!
Congratulations to our Mathletics winners, especially Freya who gained a gold certificate and Ruth who was the top P4 points scorer in term 3. Also to Olivia who was our GTBG winner in June.
This week we also tried blowing a horn similar to the ones Joshua’a Army used to destroy the walls of Jericho. Some of our children would have been quite useful horn blowers.
The boys and girls were learning about how to stay safe on the farm.
Today, as part of our Roman topic we made catapults from lolly sticks, elastic bands and bottle tops. We then went out to the playground to test them out. As you can see from the pictures and video clips, we had great fun.
Jenson brought his guitar to school today to entertain his class and we were all so impressed. Have a listen.
We enjoyed our trip to the SALTO gymnastics centre today. The children had lots of fun in the foam pit race, obstacle course and dropping from the bar. We headed on to Wallace Park for lunch and some fun in the adventure playground. We really had a great day.
Today we were learning about right angles. Later on we out in the lovely sunshine to spot right angles in our environment. We also tried some shadow drawing. This was much harder than we thought it would be. However, we did have lots of fun.
P4S and P4KE worked together to create Roman soldier recruitment posters, using Adobe Express.
The boys and girls from P4S and P4KE had a fantastic morning competing in their Sports Day activities. Every child took part and each child did a fantastic job. Well done, boys and girls!! You are all amazing!!
