We had so much fun taking part in the various activities this morning. Thankfully the weather was on our side for such a lovely morning of fun.
To conclude our Shared Education days with Presentation Primary School, all the P1-3 classes who took part were able to enjoy an action packed fun day. We had Zumba, a Healthy Kidz workout, face painting, inflatables and an ice lolly to cool us down on such a beautiful day! A great day!
We had a fantastic day in the sun at Streamvale Farm! We went on a tractor ride, fed lots of animals and found out lots of interesting information about life on the farm!
To celebrate the King’s Coronation we enjoyed a whole school parade through the local community followed by a picnic lunch and games.
Today we enjoyed planting broad beans as part of our Spring WAU topic. We also linked this with the story ‘Jack and the beanstalk’.
Now we are looking forward to watching them grow!
David Thompson came to visit our school and we took part in a super fun session where we completed lots of different exercises before listening to his story to become a swimming champion.

We had some fantastic book character costumes worn today in Primary 1 to celebrate World Book Day! Each child was invited to bring their favourite story book to school today and we enjoyed a lovely reading time on the carpet before drawing our favourite character. We also designed a book mark to bring home. Lots of boys and girls entered the school’s Book Character competition, decorating a potato/toilet roll tube to look like a book character. Well done to everyone who entered and a special congratulations to Vilte, our prize winner!
We had a lovely trip to the museum today. The boys and girls got to see and try out all the old toys along with making one of their own.
Our boys and girls have been enjoying a wide variety of outdoor play activities so far this term.
