This week we have done lots of practical Maths!
We explored symmetry using a range of resources - can you tell which side we mirrored? We also used IZAK9 to investigate number sequences, even and odd numbers and we have to work as a team to find totals and problem solve.
We are brilliant mathematicians!

We had a really interesting and fun time today when we travelled to the Palace Stables in Armagh to learn more about WW2. Some of us dressed up as Evacuee children and really looked the part. We met Mr Heany, the Evacuee Officer and Colonel Shepherd from the American army. As you can see from the pictures, we had a great day.

We were delighted to have our friends from Presentation PS visit us for our first Shared Education session last week. Our lesson was based on our WAU topic for this term which is WW2. We learnt about the Belfast Blitz and joined together to make models of Anderson Shelters from shoe boxes. Learning together was great fun as you can see from the pictures.

This week in P3WA we have been having great fun with practical lessons. We enjoyed working in teams to organise number sequences using our special iZAK 9 equipment - we were so good at this!

This week we have also completed our artistic 'Winter' display by using twigs and branches to create 3D trees. We are so creative!

We also started our new WAU topic - Pirates!

Have a look at the fun we had...
