This week marks the 80th anniversary of VE day (Victory in Europe Day) to honour veterans and commemorate the end of the Second World War! At Hart Memorial, we dressed up in red, white and blue to celebrate and did activities to help us understand what VE day means.
We also had great fun during Art when we looked at the signs of Spring and in Activity Based Learning when we explored our new Bread topic.
The children celebrated VE Day 80th Anniversary by having a special Key Stage Assembly, completing Art activities and dressing in red, white and blue clothes. Well done for your effort P6M!

P5D had the most amazing time today with their friends from Presentation PS! It was a fun filled day with orienteering, team building games, archery and they finished the day by toasting marshmallows in the forest.
