Every child has the right to express their views, feelings and wishes in all matters affecting them and to have their views considered and taken seriously.  Adults should listen and take children seriously.

Our Rights Respecting Schools Council Group called the Rights Warriors - 1 child from each class in Nursery to P7, work hard to ensure the pupils' voices are heard in Hart Memorial.

Today, we shared some fantastic news with our P3–P6 pupils — next academic year, we’ll be staging a whole-school production of Annie! 🌟

The performances will take place in February 2027, with 2–3 ticketed shows for families and friends to enjoy. We’re so excited to give our pupils the chance to shine and showcase their many talents!

🎤 Auditions
Open auditions will be held in school on Monday 1st June for anyone who would like to take part. Pupils will:

  • Sing “It’s a Hard Knock Life” in groups
  • Perform a short set of lines and act these out

Parents/guardians, we’d love your support—please help your child practise the song, encourage them to audition, and maybe enjoy watching the Annie movie together over the incoming weeks! 🎬

🎶 Rehearsals will begin in September 2026.

We can’t wait to bring this wonderful show to life and perform for you all! 💛

We would like to say a huge well done and thank you to Max from P5 💙

A few weeks ago, Max and his mum spoke with the school about fundraising as a special way to say thank you for the wonderful progress Max has made. With the help of his family and friends, Max organised a bake sale, and we are absolutely delighted to share that he raised an amazing £350! 🎂👏

Max has very kindly donated this money to the school, where it will go towards our School Charity of the Year and help make a real difference for many others.

We are incredibly proud of Max’s kindness, generosity, and determination. A big thank you also to his family and friends for their fantastic support. This is a wonderful example of our school values in action, and we truly appreciate the good this donation will do 💫

Well done, Max — you are an inspiration to us all! 🌈👏
